Festival is the largest Indonesian cultural celebration in the United States, first held on August 25, 2024, along Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C. The event was organized by the Kedutaan Besar Republik Indonesia di Washington, D.C. to commemorate 75 years of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and the United States. The festival featured performances by renowned artists such as Warren Hue, Stephanie Poetri, Andien, and Aurelie Moeremans, alongside cultural attractions including a parade by Jember Fashion Carnaval, a Reog Ponorogo performance by Singolodoyo USA, and demonstrations of angklung and gamelan. More than 100 vendors participated, offering Indonesian culinary specialties and SME products, while also introducing Indonesia’s Golden Visa program for foreign investors.
